A Hero's Legacy - The Tony Rivera Foundation has been officially launched. This is the 1st Annual Benefit in it's honor.
Please come out and celebrate the launch of the foundation, with Tony's family and friends! It has been 1 year since Tony's passing and a lot has been accomplished. It is a good time to celebrate Tony and his foundation - A Hero's Legacy!
As many of you know, Tony loved helping others. He had an extended family which transcended blood lines. He did not hesitate to be there for his family and friends with support, encouragement, silly antics, a giant hug, a huge smile and many laughs. He loved to send quick videos of his landscaping work, him singing songs, or anything to make others laugh. He led a full and happy life and we will be celebrating him and the launch of his foundation, on Saturday, 8/26.
A Hero's Legacy mission is to help youth and yound adults ages 15-25, who have encountered hardships in life, due to illness, loss, or life altering family changes, receive assistance, support or positive life experiences in order to impact, change or alter their lives. The foundation operates under Core Values which exemplified Tony's Life: Courage, Integrity, Respect, Resilience, Service and Loyalty.
The proceeds from this event will help send a receipient to an Eagles Game this Fall, as well as allow the foundation to continue its mission. We are working to provide a recipient with an Ultimate Fan Package to an Eagles Home Game, which will include 2 free tickets to the game, Eagles and A Hero's Legacy merchandise, parking, food and drink. The Philadelphia Eagles as you may know, was Tony's favorite sports team. So it is our pleasure to offer this Ultimate Fan Package to a deserving receipient!
Come Join Us on Saturday, 8/26/23 from 6-10pm at the Del Vets Post #1 in North Wilmington, DE. You won't be disappointed! Tickets are $40 if purchased by August 5th or $50 at the door. Ticket price includes soda, beer, wine and food. There will be music, raffles and a 50/50 drawing.
